Case Description
I had a crown break off last night. I have called around ,but not sure who to go to. There is no tooth really remaining at all. It looks bad. the tooth behind it has a large filling. I have mulitple dental problems. 3 months ago a lower molar with large filling cracked and 5 months ago another root canal cracked ,it is located on the opposite side, same position,of the broken crown tooth. i have one tooth up in my pallet that never came down as a child i belive it was an eye tooth. the baby tooth for it was extracted in 2003. I have 2 lower molars that are tooth buds that need to be extracted due to cracked teeth. i have had all wisdom teeth extracted plus on other lower molar. i put considerable pressure on my teeth when I sleep or am stressed. i have insurance that will cover 80/20 (dentemax) and have not used it this year. I also have care credit of 1500. My husband was unemployed for 7 months this year when the other teeth cracked and could not afford to pay co pay. he is back to work now and i feel ok to go to the dentist. I am a very sensitive person and my doctor at dental works left in 2003 and I did not feel comfortale to see the other doctors in the practice to continue the work. the one doctor extracted with out novicane!! I need help!

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.
