Case Description
I am an abuse survivor and due to broken jaw I had sustained I had to have a Bilateral Total Joint Replacement in 2002. Because of my TMJ Replacement I am a chronic pain patient and must take pain meds to just eat, talk, yawn, etc. Since my surgery I have not found literally one caring dentist willing to help me. I have tried so hard for 8 years to see every dentist on my insurance plan and they have all turned me away due to severity of case. Now most teeth are either missing or broken down to gums. My teeth are now all needing replaced. I would love maybe mini implants or something that cannot be removed. The Dr. Phil show is interested in my story but do not want to go on tv for fear of my life from my ex abuser. I desperately need a Dr. who will help me find the implants or treatment I need. I am in daily fear that my Joint Replacement's will eventually fail due to non support. Can pay some but really need a caring compassionate doctor who will go all the way to help me. Please find it in your hearts to help me and maybe have me live without this added tooth pain. I can and will give all information needed. Thanks so much..Terri terrico3@gmail.com

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.
